Travellers x2: Babymoon 2015

When two people are travelling together, there are bound to be some things that the one didn’t enjoy quite as much as the other one. I think it’s a good idea to reflect on the trip afterwards, to learn from possible mistakes and to better plan for the next one. So… the verdict is out on our Babymoon 2015 trip:

Gareth:
High Point: The trip into the game reserve / beach area in the 4×4 to view the turtle laying eggs.

Low Point: The lack of any rain and the sandy, deserty landscape of the game park that we stayed in.

Comments: I can definitely recommend any trip out to see turtles laying eggs. I was impressed at the eyesight of the game ranger, being able to spot a 10cm chameleon in a tree while driving.

Holiday Rating: 8/10

Suneé:
High Point: Definitely seeing a turtle trying to lay eggs on the beach.

Low Point: The extreme drought in the area and seeing how the animals were suffering because of it.

Comments: This was a relaxing holiday and showed us another beautiful part of South Africa. I would definitely want to come again when the rains had fallen and the land has recovered.

Holiday Rating: 7/10
